The crypto world has grown exponentially in 2021, and it is about to enter its next step in the establishing of a new world.
As newcomers to this space want to learn more about the world of cryptocurrencies, they look to “influencers” and “micro influencers” for valuable market information, the so called “Alpha”. To enlighten us about what is to come, and the best steps to take in order to prepare for the upcoming 4th industrial revolution, why not begin by interviewing one of the best informed in the space?
Thank you for accepting our invite Cryptokang. So tell us, how and when did you get started in crypto?
Thank you for the invite of course. I first heard about bitcoin on a technology forum. At the time I was a university student and was looking for ways to earn income passively, and this search is what first led me to bitcoin mining; I discovered that you could mine these coins with your pc/laptop, and immediately joined a pool and started leaving my computer doing the work as I attended my classes. Not as exciting as you had hoped I imagine.
Not what I expected! Did you start earning right away? How did that work out?
Actually no the profits in terms of $USD where minimal but still better than nothing. I ended up spending some of it at the time buying things online, and left the rest on the pools. It’s only in 2017 as crypto started coming back in the news and people started texting me about it that I went and checked back on it, and that’s how I got back into the space.
That must be when you created this Cryptokang persona? How does one become a crypto influencer? tell me please
More or less yes. I dislike that term and I don’t consider myself one in any case. I started these accounts for fun and as a parody of crypto bandwagoners. Made some memes and some videos and people started liking it, ended up meeting some great people too. I don’t post as much these days but the community is still there and has grown a lot both in numbers and in knowledge I would say.
“Knowledge”. From my research before this interview, it’s a recurring theme on your social media. I watched your “2021 Hopium” video (Shown below), your content seems to put a great focus on achieving financial independence. You host an online library too, can you expand on that too please?
Of course. I stress financial independence because it gives one the time and resources to focus on what’s truly important. It should be the number one goal in youth as to not get shackled later on. Once you achieve this, you allow yourself greater freedom of choice on your life, and you put yourself in a position to actually grow. Which is part of what the video you mentioned focuses on; there is a lot of despair in the world right now, the reverse of the coin is that there are huge opportunities for people to adapt and position themselves on top.
Klaus Schwab, founder of the WEF says it often, in this new world they have built, the fast fish reigns, not the big fish.
Could you expand on the concept of the fast and big fishes a little bit more please?
Sure I can try. Might, whether monetary, technological or physical, is not enough to come out on top in this new world. Tech advances fast, and information moves even faster. The analogy of the fast fish is one that can adapt to these changes faster than anyone else. Unlike the old worlds, definition of “power” are changing drastically fast today. A big but slow fish risks seeing his might get thanos’d overnight. (Ed. I had to look up the definition)
That’s a very interesting way of putting things thank you. How do you suggest one prepares, to put it in your words, for “what’s to come”?
The video you linked gives a great head start already. One must study the coming financial system, understand how it will run, what will make it run, and when. Once you know all this you can position yourself as one of the leaders of the new world.
Study the industrial revolution. Who is on top now? Why? I will not say more about this.
I respect that, thank you. This seems like a very nice note on which to end this interview. Do you have anything you would like to tell our readers?
Yes, we are living in very interesting times, where opportunities abound, and the stakes are very high. Put your money where you mouth is, you the reader, and you might make it as well.
Godspeed friends and Thank you [Editor] for this interview, it’s been fun.
It’s been a pleasure!
